It's June...

The end of school, beginning of summer vacations, time at the pool, and summer jobs.  For those entering their senior year call soon to schedule your sessions.  We have a limited number of weekend sessions available and a couple of "My Year" sessions open. 

Congrats to all those who have graduated in the surrounding area.  Best wishes go out to all your future endeavors.

We are on twitter, so follow us there, as well as friend us on facebook.  We look forward to working with you.  Over the next week, we are headed up to Grafton and Piere Marquette State Park for photography classes.  We're excited about learning new techniques and perfecting our current abilities.

Back from our state conference

This past week we had our state and regional conference held in Decatur, IL. I assisted the publicity and print crews. We had our awards banquet in which several awards were given out. Congrats to John, Anna, Gordon, Paul, Michael, and Jim. There wire also some awesome classes and I learned a lot.

I'm really looking forward to spring, although it looks like winter wants to stick around for a little while longer. Will be having a Mother's/ Father's Day promotions coming up as well as a series of graduate promos. Be looking out for these as well. This blog is the place to see these promos, as well as Facebook.

Busy weekend...

This past weekend was an extremely busy one for me.  Friday night my husband acquired tickets to the Blues - Blackhawks game.  It was a good one as the Blues won 1-0 and action packed.  Saturday I helped Ed Faller of Faller photography photograph a wedding in Godfrey.  It was a great wedding and what better day to get married on than Valentine's day.  Sunday I helped photograph my cousin's engagement pictures.  Leanna Rolla of Portraiture by Leanna in O'Fallon is photographing the wedding and did the engagement session.  Sunday night was the begining of the SIAL seminar and print judging competition that went on til Monday.

Yesterday I heard the amazing Chris Routt give a seminar on Senior Photography.  I learned a few things and gained some knowledge in photography and business.  These will be applied soon.

Back from Phoenix

This past week I attended Imaging USA in Phoenix, AZ.  This is a convention that is organized by the Professional Photographers of America.  I attended several classes and receive the opportunity to hear Anne Geddes speak. 

Friends received their Masters degrees, Bert Behnke, and Bob Lloyd received special recognitions.  Congratulations to all.

I am now in Springfield, IL to see our Fair Queen Courtney compete in the state competition.  Good Luck to her. 

It's been a crazy week but should settle down in the next few days.  Keep checking the blog for promotions.  I received several ideas in Phoenix that I may implement here.
